The health benefits of Transcendental Meditation have not only been independently verified at numerous universities and research institutes, but have been clearly demonstrated by a study conducted under the auspices of the National Institute of Industrial Health of the Ministry of Labour of Japan. The US National Institute of Health has also awarded more than $24 million to study the benefits of the Transcendental Meditation technique for improving brain functioning and cardiovascular health.
